RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 139 – October 15, 2022 Southeast Super Truck Series – Anderson, Motor Speedway

WILLIAMSTON, S.C. -- D.J. Canipe scored a perfect night Saturday in the Southeast Super Truck Series at Anderson Motor Speedway. He won the pole position in qualifying, then swept both 30-lap features. They were his fourth and fifth wins in the 2022 campaign.

Canipe started third in both feature and needed seven laps in the opening event to get the top spot. From there he distanced himself over Ed Surett and Ralph Carnes to grab victory. It took him 10 laps in the second feature to get to the front, but the results were the same. Carnes finished second in this one with Surett third.

It was a night for sweeps as John Gallman scored wins in both 30-lap Limited Late Model features. Austin Thompson had significant challenges along the way but was able to get the wins in both the 30-lap Legends features. And, Hunter Jordon went two-for-two winning both 20-lap Bandolers features.

Tim Stoles won the 25-lap Carolina Vintage Feature with Marty Ward picking up the 25-lap Vintage Outlaw win.
