RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 99: August 3, 2022 Modifieds – Racetrack Revival – North Wilkesboro Speedway

NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C. – Matt Hirschmen turned in a dominating performance Wednesday in the 50-lap modified race. It was the second night of the “Racetrack Revival” of the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Hirschman started on the pole position and led the first six laps before Spencer Davis was able to get by. Davis’ lead lasted four laps before Hirschman assumed command again. From there he was able to maintain the advantage to take the victory. Brian Loftin rallied late to finish second with Bobby Labonte third.

Paulie Hartig III won the 40-lap Carolina Crate Modified feature and Chuck Wall was the winner in the 30-lap Mini Stock main.
