2022 Race No. 79 – June 21, 2022 Cook Out Summer Shootout – Legends/Bandolers -- Charlotte Motor Speedway.

CONCORD, N.C. -- Landen Lewis became the third different Boston Reed Real Estate Legends Cars Pro Division winner in three races Tuesday night at the Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Lewis started eighth in the 25-lap Pro headliner and patiently made his way forward. Last week’s winner Ethan Norfleet was setting the pace when a late race slip allowed Lewis to sneak past. Opening night winner Jordan Black followed Lewis to a second-place finish with Norfleet finishing third.

Dwayne Holder jumped into the early lead in the 25-lap Masters feature and set the pace until lap 13 when contact with Robbie Woodall sent both drivers out of the event. That turned the point over to Robby Faggart, who held on for a few laps before Mark Green was able to make the pass for the lead.

Green got his first win of the season with Carl Cormier and Brandon McKenzie in the top three spots.

Other winners in Legends cars were Joel Smith in Young Lions and Conner Zilisch in the VP Racing Semi Pros.

Bandolero winners were Wyatt Coffey in the Beginners, Hudson Canipe in Bandits with Killiam McMann in Outlaws.
