2022 Race No. 76: June 14, 2022 Cook Out Summer Shootout – Legends/Bandolers – Charlotte Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. -- Carson Brown won the shortened 21-lap VP Racing Legends Semi Pro Feature at Charlotte Motor Speedway in round two of the Cook Out Summer Shootout. Paired with his second-place finish in round one, the young racer is off to a strong start.

Brown started on the front row and led the entire distance. He did however have to fend off many challenges and restarts during the race that had its share of slowdowns. Brown was the winner with Connor Zilisch and Andres Perez second and third.

In the 25-lap Boston Reid and Associates Legends Pro feature Ethan Norfleet put in a strong run to get the victory, his first Pro win at Charlotte. Garrett Lowe was strong over the second half of the race and moved forward to second with Landen Lewis finishing third.

Other Legends winners were Doug Stevens going two-for-two on the season with the 25-lap Masters win and T.J. Decaire won the Young Lions feature.

Bandolero winners were Darren Krantz Jr. in the Bandits, Gavin Holland in Beginner Bandits and Bobby Gossett in Outlaws.
