2022 Race No. 66: May 29, 2022 Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions – Weikert Memorial – Port Royal Speedway

PORT ROYAL Pa. -- Anthony Macri swept the Weikert Memorial Weekend at Port Royal Speedway Sunday with the $29,000 Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 victory. The win was his seventh career series win and his 16th triumph at Port Royal.

Macri started fourth and patiently moved forward to the lead by lap 10 of the 30-lap feature. From there the only thing that slowed the Dillsburg driver was a few cautions and some heavy lapped traffic. In each instance he was able to maintain the lead and open a comfortable margin.

Brent Marks started sixth and did his best to pressure Macri, but came up short to finish second. Jeff Halligan rallied late in the race to a third-place finish, his best finish of the season.

Also on the program was the conclusion of a previously started sprint car feature, restarting with 17 laps remaining. Justin Whittall resumed as the race leader and looked poised to get his first career 410 win at Port Royal.

During a red flag period, Whittall’s car leaked fuel and he had to leave the track for repairs. That gave Brent Marks the lead, short-lived as Logan Wagner quickly got past on the restart and never looked back. It was Wagner’s fourth win of the season at the track. Marks finished second again with Dylan Cisney third,

Steve Wilbur won the 20-lap Wingless Sportsman feature.
