2022 Race No. 38: April 15, 2022 All Star Circuit of Champions – Attica Raceway Park

Tyler Courtney began his All Star Circuit of Champions title defense in grand fashion with a win in the 40-lap points season opener at Attica Raceway Park. It was his 10th series win, in a unique twist all have been in different states.

Local hero Craig Mintz led the first five laps before Justin Peck took over the top spot. A few mid-race restarts spiced the battle for the lead up with Courtney challenging; on lap 30 to two battled off turn four with Peck spinning around. That gave Courtney the advantage he needed to get the win. Greg Wilson had a strong run to finish second with Mintz hanging on to third. A strong 49-car field entered the race.

In the companion UMP Late Model feature it was defending track champion Devin Shiels getting his 11th career win at Attica.
